Who is Tom Adams?
I started my career at Crispin Porter + Bogusky when it was a 30-person shop in Miami.
Over the next decade, I helped build brands like Truth and MINI in the U.S., during a period when CP+B was redefining what modern advertising could be. It was an era of experimentation, ambition, and belief that creativity could genuinely shift culture — and business.
In 2008, I left to build something of my own.
I founded goodness Mfg., an independent agency built around the same entrepreneurial spirit that shaped my early career. Over eight years, we partnered with brands like Google, Toshiba, and Carvana, creating work that was ambitious, effective, and built to last. Eventually, I sold the agency and returned to leadership roles at Deutsch and later CP+B.
Across each chapter — global agency, independent founder, returning ECD — the throughline has been the same: build strong brands, raise creative standards, and create environments where talented people can do their best work.
Today, I’m based in New Orleans with my wife and our dog, Titan.
